The line has started production following the assembly and quality checks of its first 82 CUBE battery modules, the company said in a statement on its website on Monday .  Modules will be shipped weekly to Lehmann Marine’s expanded headquarters in Hittfeld , Germany , where they will undergo final system integration and testing before distribution. The automated line is expected to reach annual production of up to 300 MWh once fully ramped up. Additional lines can also be added as demand grows. The expansion brings together Sunlight Group’s large-scale battery manufacturing capabilities with Lehmann Marine’s marine engineering expertise, with the companies targeting shorter lead times and greater supply chain security for customers. Each battery system will go through quality checks at both facilities, starting with automated testing in Xanthi and finishing with commissioning in Hittfeld.
