Maersk has introduced a series of changes across its Far East–Bangladesh service network following the previously announced revision of its SH2 service. According to Alphaliner, the carrier has adjusted the rotations of its SH1, SH2, SH3 and IA7 services to optimize coverage across Asia and Bangladesh. The revised SH1 service removes calls at Hong Kong, Qui Nhon and Da Nang, and will now operate on the rotation: Ningbo, Shanghai, Xiamen, Port Kelang, Chittagong, Port Kelang, Tanjung Pelepas and back to Ningbo. The updated SH2 rotation will serve Ningbo, Shanghai, Kaohsiung, Tanjung Pelepas, Chittagong, Singapore, Qui Nhon, Da Nang, Hong Kong, Keelung and back to Ningbo. On SH3 , Kaohsiung has been replaced by Nansha, while northbound calls at Mongla and Tanjung Pelepas have been removed. The revised rotation is: Yokohama, Kobe, Qingdao, Shanghai, Nansha, Tanjung Pelepas, Port Kelang, Chittagong, Tanjung Pelepas, Ho Chi Minh, Shenzhen (Yantian) and back to Yokohama. Meanwhile, the IA7 service will no longer call at Shantou. The revised route is: Hong Kong, Shenzhen (Yantian), Nansha, Tanjung Pelepas, Port Kelang, Chittagong, Tanjung Pelepas, Nansha and back to Hong Kong.
