CyberLogitec has signed an agreement to deploy its cloud-based OPUS Terminal M system at Shuwaikh Port in Kuwait. The project forms part of a wider port digitalisation initiative led by Kuwait-based infrastructure company Alghanim Specialities. CyberLogitec will provide its terminal operating system (TOS) to support the digital transformation of operations at Shuwaikh Port. OPUS Terminal M to digitalise port operations OPUS Terminal M provides an integrated platform for managing different areas of terminal operations. The system supports vessel operations and planning, yard and equipment management, gate operations, operational monitoring and data management. It also provides real-time visibility across terminal activities. CyberLogitec said the technology is expected to improve productivity and support faster operational decision-making. Shuwaikh Port strengthens digital capabilities Located near Kuwait City, Shuwaikh Port is one of Kuwait’s main commercial ports. The facility handles container, general cargo and Ro-Ro traffic and serves as an important gateway for the country’s international trade. The deployment is also expected to strengthen CyberLogitec’s presence in the Middle East as ports and terminals across the region invest in digital technologies. CyberLogitec expands smart terminal projects The Shuwaikh Port agreement follows another recent project for CyberLogitec in Europe. The company secured a contract with TTI Algeciras in Spain to provide its OPUS Terminal and Digital Twin solutions for the terminal’s B1 Expansion Project. CyberLogitec is also expanding its technology portfolio beyond traditional terminal operating systems. Its solutions now include Digital Twin, operational visibility and AI-enabled smart terminal technologies.
