US-based Enstructure has acquired control of the terminal and stevedoring operations of Canada’s Logistec . The operations were acquired from Blue Wolf Capital Partners. However, Blue Wolf will retain an investment interest in the combined business. The transaction significantly expands Enstructure’s terminal network across the United States and Canada. Enstructure network grows to 106 terminals Following the transaction, Enstructure operates 106 terminals and facilities across the US and Canada. Around 80 to 90 of these locations came from Logistec. The network includes both marine and non-marine facilities. Enstructure provides terminal, stevedoring, warehousing, trucking and logistics services. Its operations serve several cargo sectors, including containers and breakbulk. Enstructure also developing Edgemoor terminal Enstructure is also behind the revived Edgemoor container terminal project in Delaware . The planned terminal is expected to provide around 1.2 million TEU of annual capacity . Meanwhile, Logistec previously held a 25% stake in the Termont container terminal in Montreal.
