FedEx has introduced Global Trade Navigator, a suite of digital tools designed to help businesses of all sizes navigate the complexities of international shipping with greater confidence. The capabilities provide businesses with information and insigdigithts to better understand shipping requirements, improve shipment documentation and address customs issues before they become clearance problems. The launch responds to well-documented pain points in international trade. According to the 2026 FedEx Small Business Trade Index, 68% of small and medium-sized businesses regularly see customers surprised by duties at delivery, while 60% report losing revenue through refunds or abandoned purchases. Global Trade Navigator is designed to move trade intelligence earlier in the shipping journey, addressing challenges across planning, shipment preparation, checkout and reporting to reduce complexity and improve predictability for both businesses and their customers. The tools are designed to serve customers ranging from small and medium-sized businesses exploring international shipping for the first time to enterprises integrating trade information into established workflows. Jason Brenner, Senior Vice President of Digital Portfolio at FedEx, described the solution as making critical trade information and guidance more accessible to businesses as they grow internationally, building on decades of global trade expertise to deliver fewer surprises and a more predictable shipping experience.
