Hong Kong — Ocean carrier Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has announced the upcoming launch of its new South China Laem Chabang Service (CHL7). The dedicated intra-Asia loop is structured to strengthen maritime connectivity and improve schedule reliability for cargo trade between Southern China and Thailand. Service deployment and launch timeline The CHL7 service will officially begin operations on September 29, 2026. Launch date : September 29, 2026. Operational focus : Direct links between South China export hubs and Thailand to enhance schedule flexibility, transit efficiency, and supply chain reliability.
