Konecranes increased its order intake during the first half of 2026, supported by higher demand across its Industrial Equipment and Port Solutions businesses. The company maintained its full-year outlook despite lower sales and profitability. During the second quarter, order intake rose 13.2% to €1.24 billion. Net sales declined 3.1% to €1.02 billion, while comparable EBITA fell 13.8% to €129.5 million. Earnings per share decreased to €0.38. For the first six months of 2026, order intake increased 6.9% to €2.31 billion. The order book reached €3.38 billion, up 16.1% year-on-year. Net sales declined 5.3% to €1.93 billion, while comparable EBITA fell 9.3% to €235.2 million. Net debt stood at €22.3 million, with gearing improving to 1.1%. The company said customer demand remained strong during the quarter, particularly in the Americas and Asia-Pacific, while activity softened in the EMEA region. CEO Marko Tulokas said the higher order intake increased the company’s order book and supports stronger deliveries during the second half of the year. In Port Solutions, order intake increased 16.9% to €509 million, although net sales declined 12.9% to €355 million. The business ended the quarter with an order book of €1.8 billion. During the quarter, Konecranes also completed the electrification of its lift truck portfolio by introducing electric options across all product lines. Looking ahead, Konecranes expects demand from industrial customers to remain healthy. The company said container throughput continues to support demand from port customers, although geopolitical uncertainty and trade policy tensions remain key risks. Konecranes reaffirmed its guidance, expecting 2026 net sales and comparable EBITA margin to remain broadly in line with 2025.
