OOCL Logistics has launched a new joint venture container depot at Port Klang, Malaysia, expanding its inland logistics operations in Southeast Asia. The new facility, OOCL Infinity Depot (M) Sdn Bhd (ODD-08), was established in partnership with Infinity Logistics & Transport Sdn Bhd. Located within Westports, the depot started operations in February 2026. It covers approximately 217,800 square feet and has storage capacity for up to 3,200 TEUs. New depot reaches 10,000 TEUs monthly throughput The facility provides a range of container depot services. These include container handling, storage, repair and maintenance, as well as repositioning. According to OOCL Logistics, activity at the depot has increased steadily since operations began. By June 2026, only four months after opening, the facility had reached a monthly throughput of approximately 10,000 TEUs. Yard utilisation had also climbed to around 66%. OOCL Logistics said the performance reflects growing demand for container depot services in the region. OOCL Logistics expands Southeast Asia operations The location within Westports gives the new depot access to one of Malaysia’s major maritime gateways. Westports provides connections to more than 350 ports worldwide. This allows the facility to support both regional and international container movements. The investment also strengthens OOCL Logistics’ inland logistics capabilities in Malaysia. Through the joint venture, the company aims to improve connections between port operations and inland logistics while expanding its end-to-end services across Southeast Asia.
