CLARKSONS PLATOU HELLAS – SnP WEEKLY BULLETIN in Weekly Shipbuilding Reports 29/05/2026 As we enter the vibrant week of Posidonia, market sentiment is on positive tune and the SnP activity remains busy across both Dry and Tanker segments. On the Dry front we continue to observe a sustained appetite for both ECO candidates and mid-aged tonnage, with activity evident across a broad range of sizes and with the majority of sales being concentrated around non-geared vessels. Much attention was drawn to the sale of the Capesize EHIME QUEEN (ABT 181K DWT, 2016, IMABARI), which after reportedly attracting approximately 5 offers, is understood to have achieved a fixing price in the region of USD 56m. Meantime, we are observing a number of enquiries for around 15-year-old built Supramaxes as reflected by rumors of a 2012 Dolphin 57 with surveys passed being committed for levels in the USD mid 15m. At the same time, demand for around 15-to-20-year-old Panamax and Kamsarmaxes remains steady. On the Tanker side, buyers are continuing to show appetite for ECO tonnage despite the small decline in rates. Activity has been primarily concentrated around MR and Aframax / LR2 candidates, although notable interest is evident across all segments. Dry Cargo On the Capesize front, the Japanese built scrubber fitted EHIME QUEEN (ABT 181K DWT, 2016, IMABARI, SCRUBBER) was sold at region USD 56m to Chinese buyers. Meanwhile, in the Kamsarmax space, the KEY HUNTER (ABT 82K DWT, 2011, TSUNEISHI) was acquired by Greek interests at a price in the region of USD 21m. On the Ultramax front, the Chinese built sister vessels TIAN MU SHAN and YAN DANG SHAN (ABT 63K DWT, 2017, SHUNTIAN SB (JIANGSU)) were sold enbloc this week via the GSE auction platform at USD 52.32m by clients of CDB Leasing to Singaporean based interests.
