FacebookTwitterEmailLinkedin Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp. has taken delivery of YM Wayfinder, the third vessel in its series of 15,500 TEU LNG dual-fuel containerships built by HD Hyundai Heavy Industries (HD HHI). The 15,600 TEU vessel measures 364.97 meters in length overall with a beam of 51 meters and is equipped with a high-pressure dual-fuel main engine capable of operating on both LNG and low-sulfur fuel oil. Yang Ming said the vessel will primarily use LNG, enabling an immediate reduction of approximately 20% in greenhouse gas emissions compared with conventional fuel oil.
