Eimskip has entered into a market making agreement with Landsbankinn, aimed at supporting trading in the company’s shares and improving price discovery on Nasdaq Iceland. Under the agreement, which takes effect on 20 July 2026, Landsbankinn will submit daily buy and sell quotes for Eimskip shares with a minimum market value of ISK 8 million. The bank’s maximum daily net trading obligation will be ISK 16 million at market value. The agreement requires quotes to be renewed within 10 minutes after being fully executed. The maximum bid-ask spread will be linked to Eimskip’s 10-day share price volatility, capped at 2% when volatility is below 30% and 4% when volatility reaches or exceeds 30%. The new arrangement will replace Eimskip’s existing market making agreement with Íslandsbanki, which will terminate when the new agreement comes into force. The company’s market making agreement with Arion Bank hf. will remain unchanged. Eimskip said the agreement will remain in effect until either party terminates it by providing 14 days’ written notice.
