CEVA Logistics will open a new 44,000-square-metre logistics platform in Mably, in France’s Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, during the summer of 2026. The facility will strengthen the company’s contract logistics network while supporting the growing demand for e-commerce distribution in France. Located in the Éco Parc Bonvert business park near Roanne, the site will be capable of processing 200,000 parcels per week, increasing to 350,000 parcels during peak periods. The platform includes 42,000 square metres of warehouse space and 2,000 square metres of office space. It also features 41 dock doors to improve inbound and outbound cargo flows. CEVA said the site will use advanced inventory management systems, a high-speed automated sorting system and Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) racking to increase storage capacity and improve order picking efficiency. The company expects the new facility to employ around 300 people, with the workforce rising to 500 employees during seasonal peaks. The warehouse has also been designed with sustainability in mind. It will feature 100% LED lighting, rooftop photovoltaic panels and electric forklifts and pallet trucks to reduce the environmental footprint of its operations. The opening expands CEVA’s contract logistics footprint in France. The company now operates 27 contract logistics warehouses across the country, covering more than 570,000 square metres, in addition to 150,000 square metres dedicated to air and ocean logistics, bringing its total warehouse space in France to 720,000 square metres. Amaury Montay, Contract Logistics Director France at CEVA Logistics, said the new platform reflects the company’s continued investment in France and will strengthen its ability to support customers in the fast-growing e-commerce sector.
