WE Tech Solutions and Everllence have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop electrification and decarbonisation solutions for the maritime industry. The agreement expands PrimeServ Omnicare’s portfolio and supports Everllence’s “Moving Big Things to Zero”strategy. The companies signed the MoU during Posidonia 2026 in Athens. The partners will combine WE Tech’s expertise in electrical integration with Everllence’s engineering, retrofit and global service capabilities. They aim to help shipowners improve energy efficiency, reduce fuel consumption and cut emissions. The cooperation will focus on electrification, energy management, retrofit projects, and global lifecycle support. “The maritime industry is at a pivotal point in its transition towards lower emissions,” said Henri Kinnunen, CEO of WE Tech Solutions. “By combining WE Tech’s electrification technologies with Everllence’s global service capabilities, we can deliver practical solutions that improve efficiency while reducing environmental impact.” Thomas Andreassen, Global Business Development Manager at Everllence PrimeServ Omnicare, said the partnership strengthens the company’s ability to support customers as electrification and decarbonisation become increasingly important. “Everllence engines power a substantial share of the global commercial fleet,” he said. “By combining WE Tech’s expertise in hybrid systems and electrical integration with our global engineering and service organisation, we can deliver solutions that create measurable value for customers.” The companies have already launched their first joint initiative. They are developing Power Take-Off (PTO) and Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) retrofit packages for two- and four-stroke vessels during dry dockings.
