Norwegian offshore service provider Archer has secured a two-year extension to its frame agreement with Equinor, covering well services on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS). The contract, valued at around NOK700m ($75m), includes plug and abandonment (P&A) solutions, fishing services and downhole mechanical isolation work. The company indicated that the extension reinforced its long-standing relationship with Equinor and supported ongoing activity tied to well intervention and late-life asset management across the NCS. Nicholas Pantin, executive vice president at Archer, said the deal was strategically important “as it strengthens our position as a trusted well services and P&A provider on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and globally”. The extension adds to Archer’s backlog and improves revenue visibility over the next two years.
