Hapag-Lloyd has announced Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) updates for shipments to Guinea and Mexico. The revised charges cover cargo from Asia and Oceania to Conakry. They also cover shipments from North Europe to Mexico. PSS from Asia and Oceania to Conakry Hapag-Lloyd will apply updated PSS levels to cargo from Asia and Oceania to Conakry, Guinea. The surcharge will cover all cargo loaded on board from 12 August 2026. It will remain valid until further notice. The updated amounts are: US$1,750 per TEU for dry, special and tank containers US$2,250 per TEU for reefer containers PSS from North Europe to Mexico Hapag-Lloyd will also introduce a PSS for shipments from North Europe to Mexico. The surcharge will apply to dry, reefer and special containers. It will cover all sailings commencing on or after 1 September 2026. Hapag-Lloyd will charge US$500 per TEU for all container types. The surcharge will remain valid until further notice. Meanwhile, ocean tariff rates and bunker-related surcharges will remain unchanged. Security-related surcharges and terminal handling charges will also remain as previously announced. In addition, local and contingency charges may apply.
