ANL will revise its Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) across several Pacific Islands trades from 1 October 2026 . The carrier said the changes reflect fuel price movements during the previous period. New Zealand-Pacific Islands trades For shipments between New Zealand and Tonga, Samoa, American Samoa and Fiji , the new BAF will be US$217 per TEU for dry cargo . Reefer cargo will face a higher charge of US$325.50 per TEU . The same rates will apply on return shipments to New Zealand. Australia-Pacific Islands trades ANL will apply a BAF of US$619 per TEU for dry cargo moving between Australia and Tonga, Samoa and American Samoa. For reefer cargo, the surcharge will be US$927 per TEU . The rates also apply on return shipments to Australia. Inter-island rates also revised For inter-island shipments between Tonga, Samoa, American Samoa and Fiji , the BAF will be US$336 per TEU for dry cargo . Reefer shipments will be charged US$504 per TEU . ANL, part of the CMA CGM Group, said the revised BAF will apply to all shipments loaded on or after 1 October 2026 .
